Melanie Daniel McCombs

Melanie was a loving, generous and beautiful woman who had an infectious laugh and heart of gold. She loved her family deeply and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her daughters, grandkids, family and friends. She was a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse where she provided excellent care to all of her patients who quickly became like family to her. During her free time she enjoyed shopping, swimming, attending grandkids sporting events and going to the beach. She was more than willing to help anyone in need and always put others first. She was a reliable person who was always there for her family and friends. Her gorgeous smile, sweet spirit and love for others will be deeply missed.

Melanie was preceded in death by her fiance Alvin Bowen Sr. and sister in law Jeneen Daniel.

Melanie is survived by parents Charles and Faye Daniel, daughters Meghan Bolden (BJ), Mallory Hale (Dustin), Kelsey Pike (Heith), 12 grandkids, brothers Rick Daniel (Jennifer), Eddie Daniel (Cindy), Heath Daniel; many other family members and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life Services for Melanie will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service officiated by Heith Pike will be held at 3:00 PM, followed by her burial at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama.
