Michael Morris Cooper

Michael Morris Cooper, affectionately known as "Mike or Coop," was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and loyal friend, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday November 6, 2025, at the age of 51. He was born on February 13, 1974.

Mike grew up in Fultondale, Alabama where he made a great group of friends for life- a testament to his enduring loyalty and kind heart. He later moved to Hayden, Alabama where he was devoted to raising his beautiful daughter and helping to care for his father.

Mike was known for being a literal "mouth of the south" and his friends and family loved him for his candor; he never held back what was on his mind. He was truly a one-of-a-kind individual whose genuine nature touched the lives of all who knew him.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Cooper, with whom he is now reunited.

Mike is survived by his loving family; Father Morris Cooper, daughter Izabella Grace Cooper, sister Christie (Eric) Wrenn, niece Casey (Nathan) Fielder, nephew Hunter (Marissa) Wrenn, great-niece Presley Fielder, great-nephew Lane Fielder, and a host of cherished family members and dear friends.

Following cremation, there will be a Celebration of Life for Mike at a later date, and details will be shared once finalized.
