I knew a man whose hands we’re so callused that gloves weren’t t necessary. This man could’ve lead the world's finest army. He had wisdom that knew no bounds. No fire could burn his character, no stone could break it. He maintained a private existence. One that sheltered his most coveted thoughts from the world. His upbringing was no controlled creation. His hard-working family was like many from that era. He gained his knowledge in hard dirt and second-hand tools. From that natural upbringing, he had an incredible sense of good and bad. He saw things before it saw him, in people and in anything imaginable. Where did he learn this? How does he know so many things? I've seen this man create many things. With no blueprints, he carved and produced wonders upon wonders. He’s resume will show the he created and designed the comforts of many of businesses and companies. Not to mention his own.  He hammered out deal upon deal, always being as fair as God would have it. He had taken land with thick shrub and deep valleys and molded them into a frontier fit for heaven. Solving problems was as easy as breathing for him. They were thrown his way like the morning paper. People surrounded him daily, wanting solutions. He handed them out with pride and passion. Each solution was a battle won. He calculated his every action, demanding the same from everyone else. He was honest on letting you know your end of the bargain. His friendship is the greatest gift you could ever obtain. Out of all his attributes, it was the most impressive. In every result, he stood as an example of what hard work and dedication will achieve. He praised God, loved his family and enjoyed his friends. I can now only pray that his blue print for life, his wisdom and influence will take seed into the next generation. He has so much to be proud of. His eyes saw so much more than my imagination could produce. And he made us all better for it. His name was Michael David Streetman, and he was one of Gods greatest

I had the pleasure of working with Mike nearly 40 years. He and I shared a great friend, Jere Dumas, who assigned Mike and I to take care of his wifes water heating system at her house after he passed. Always willing to help , always with a smile and a genuinely  great guy. I will miss him very much.

Michael was the illustration of a good son-in-law and was loved in the McKeever family for almost 50 years.  We sorrow not as others who have no hope but rejoice that we know where he is and will join him soon.  The tears we shed are expressions of the soul’s joy, having known and loved Michael.  May the God of all Grace draw us to Himself.
