Mildred J. Harris, age 90 of Gardendale passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012. She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Fred A. Harris and daughter, Gail H. Pimm. Survivors include her grandsons: Paul, Philip and David Roper; six great grandchildren and five great - great grandchildren; sister, Delorse Duncan. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
