Myrtle Hale

Flora “Myrtle” Roberts Hale, of Gardendale, AL, was born in Cullman County, AL on April 5th, 1933 and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 28th, 2016 at the age of 83. Myrtle was a longtime member of the North Gardendale Church of Christ.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, Hattie and Clayburn Roberts, a son, Randy Hale; a brother, Junior Roberts; sisters, Trudy Taft, Trixie Whittle, Christine Mitchell, and Katie Kennedy.

Myrtle is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Fred Hale; a son; Bruce Hale (Marsha); daughters, Brenda Armstrong (Jeff) and Sheila Hays (Phillip); sister, Doris Gorman; grandchildren; Christopher Armstrong, Kevin Armstrong, Daniel Hays, David Hays, Debra Hays, Dana Dodd, Brandon Hale, Jeremy Hale, and Paige Lawley; great grandchildren, Haylee Dodd, Joshua Dodd, Andrew Dodd, Breck Armstrong, Jackson Armstrong, Hudson Armstrong, Addison Grace Lawley, Eli Hale, and Collins Hale; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on December 30th, 2016 with a visitation to begin at 2:00pm; funeral service at 3:00pm followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
