Nancy L. Dustman

Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Tubbs, and her second husband, Dale Dustman; one daughter, Linda.

Nancy is survived by her son, Ricky Brian Tubbs (Denise) of Gardendale, Alabama; daughters, Brenda Tubbs of Indiana, and Patty Hoppers (Charlie) of Indiana; a sister, Diane Janczewski of Indiana; five grandchildren, Ketter Tubbs (Yasmin) of Hawaii, Kirei Tubbs of Hawaii, Lindsey Gamble (Daniel) of Alabama, Leah Abney (Joshua) of Alabama, and Danny Lewandowski of Virginia; three great-grandchildren, Zendra Tubbs, Zedekiah Tubbs, and Reina Tubbs of Hawaii; nephews, Ron McCall (Renee'); nieces, Mary Ebzery, Annie Peickert, and Kim McCall Samulski and her daughters Kayla and Kelsey, and many friends.

Nancy lived in Indiana until recently. She married Dennis Tubbs and from this union, three children were born, Linda, Brenda, and Ricky. She was widowed and later married Dale Dustman in 1968. She worked as a secretary at the Wheelabrator-Frye Corporation for ten years. She had previously worked at the Notre Dame Book Store selling class rings and she had a passion for Notre Dame football and basketball (men's and women's).

Nancy acted as a surrogate parent for orphans through Mishawaka, Indiana City School for many years. She loved to golf, bowl, and go to the gym. She also played Yuker with her female friends for many years.

Nancy moved to Alabama on April 29, 2022, to live with her son and daughter-in-law, after refusing for many years to leave Indiana. God blessed us all with a beautiful month together before her passing. She confessed Christ as her savior many times prior to her death. We had several opportunities to worship together at Enon Baptist Church, Morris, Alabama and we praise our great God for His goodness.

A memorial service for Nancy will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Enon Baptist Church, 724 Morris Majestic Road, Morris, AL 35116.
