

Norma was born on December 30, 1946 to Odes and Ruth Hackney in Blountsville, Alabama.
In 1962 she met the love of her life, Danny, and the two were married on July 4, 1963. For almost 62 years the two were rarely apart. Together they raised sons Rodney and Cory. Norma's joy, laughter, heart-warming smile,and steadfast faith made her the heart and soul of her family.
Norma's passing was preceded by her parents, Odes and Ruth Hackney; her brother, Bobby Hackney; her beloved mother-in-law, Eulayla Lloyd; and brother-in-law, Dolan Hardiman. She is survived by her husband, Danny Hardiman; her children, Rodney (Angela) Hardiman, Cory (Dana) Hardiman; grandchildren, Hillary and Taylor Eaves, Zachary and Kristen Hardiman, Sydney and Devon Ahern, Ben and Victoria Hardiman, and Lainey Hardiman; as well as her great grandchildren, Adison, TJ, Cora, and Aubrey Eaves, Asher and Eme Hardiman. Along with her family Joan and James Mason, Billy and Diane Hackney, Shirley Hackney, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Norma was a faithful member of Gardendale First Baptist Church.

A visitation for Norma will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama 35071, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM.
