Born May 15, 1923, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 10, 2012. Ostelle graduated from Howard College (Samford), taught school for 36 years, and retired from Corner High School in 1985. She was a volunteer secretary/ treasurer with the Corner Fire and Rescue for 26 years, and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Ostelle was preceded in death by her parents: Virgil and Essie Creel; and her brother, S.J. Creel. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Carmon D. (C.D.) Redman; her daughter, Amanda Redman; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Special thanks to Donald and Dot Wright. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Corner Fire and Rescue at 3105 Corner Road, Warrior, AL 35180. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, with funeral services following; officiated by Rev. Gary Creel. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
