Born November 15, 1957, the youngest of three children, Pat was consistently described throughout her life as the kindest, most loving, and most selfless person one could ever know. Pat was extraordinarily brilliant, resilient, and persevering. She found deep meaning in her professional service as Chief Financial Officer of Olympia Construction in Albertville, Alabama, for over thirty years. Her colleagues will always be remembered by her children as friends and family. She was a lifelong fan of Alabama football, famously never missing a game.
Pat found her life’s greatest joy in her children and grandchildren and in her personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She was a lifelong follower of Christ and found immense joy in His Word and presence. Throughout her life, she spoke daily of her eager anticipation of the day she would join the Lord and see Him face to face. She directed her daily life toward the hope of being a blessing and a source of relief to others. Romans 8:28 was her favorite verse:
“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.”
Pat left this life having achieved her personal mission: leaving this life with the full confidence that she will see each of her children and grandchildren again in heaven because they have placed their faith in the salvation of the Lord Jesus.
