Patricia “Trish” Rowe-Cates, age 65 of Gardendale passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lois Purcell. Trish was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She leaves behind a loving and devoted husband of twenty years, Daniel Cates; two sons, Bobby Rowe (Alecia) of Corner and Jarod Rowe of Gardendale; four grandchildren, Brayden Rowe, Damien Rowe, Sara Rowe, and Liam Rowe; and a brother, Patrick “Pat” Purcell (Jenny).
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with a visitation for friends from 12:30 until service time at 2. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Minister John Churchill will officiate.
