Patsy W. Ray , age 79 of Gardendale, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. She was a member of the Decatur Highway Church of Christ. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Jerry Ray and her son, Mark Alan Ray. She was a wonderful wife and mother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter Missy Ray of Gardendale, Al. Chapel funeral services will be Saturday, August 16th at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel beginning at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale, Al. Ministers Miles Stutts and John McMath will officiate. The family would like to thank Comfort Care Hospice for their care of Patsy during her illness. Arrangements under the direction of Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, AL.
