Pauline Stephens of Fultondale, AL passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the age of 93. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Stephens was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church for the Deaf in Cahaba Heights. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Dow Stephens, Jr. and her daughter, Naomi Jean Whitfield; 8 brothers, Wallace, Roy, Doyle, Ray, Sid, Sherman, Ralph, and Albert; 4 sisters, Myrtle, Pearl, Irene, and Jewel. Mrs. Stephens is survived by a son, Paul Stephens and her daughter, Lana Ann Stephens; Grandchildren, Amy Whitfield, Damon Smith, Travis Jay Smith, and Jane Whitfield; Great- Grandchildren, Abigail Whitfield, Landon Leora, Caylene Whitfield, Callie Whitfield, and Noah Whitfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, March 30th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 1 PM with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery in Blountsville, Al.
