Peggy Lloyd Pennington passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the age of 89. Born in Charleston, West Virginia on November 1, 1935 to the late Ethyl N. & Bill D. Lloyd. She was a long time resident of Walker County, recently residing at North Hill Nursing Home. Peggy retired from Golden Flake Foods and was an avid Auburn fan. Peggy was preceded in death by her son, John B. Pennington, daughter Cheryl L. Pennington, and grandson Jason Pennington. She is survived by three sons: Rick(Lee) Pennington, Billy(Suzanne) Pennington, and Ronald(Ginger) Pennington, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside service on later date to occur at Sunset Memorial in Pinson, AL.
