Ramon Perez

Ramon moved to America as a young man and lived in Florida, moved to New York, and then moved to Birmingham and to begin his career as chef at the Birmingham Airport Restaurant. He work as a chef at a few places and retired from The Club after many years of service there. He was a passionate man and among the things he loved was NASCAR, WWE and hanging out at Jeff's garage.

Ramon was preceded in death by his father, Carmelo Perez; mother, Camila Padilla Perez, and his former wife, Euna K Perez.

Ramon is survived by his daughter, Brenda Rhodes (Billy); six siblings, Emma Perez, Hector Perez, Olga Perez Guzman, Luis Perez, Irma Perez, and Rogelio Perez; two grandchildren, Joseph Tyler Rhodes and Janzen Taylor Rhodes; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service for Ramon will be held Monday, March 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071.
