Vic was a resident of Gardendale, AL, and he went home to be with the Lord at the age of 73. He was a member of the North Gardendale Baptist Church. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He loved his children, wife, family and church, and he cherished the time he spent with each of them.
Vic was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Vickers and Rose Buchannan; brothers, Charles Vickers and Wayne Vickers.
Vic is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Margaret Vickers; sons, Zack Vickers (Morgan), Marty Vickers, and Kane Vickers; daughter, Jennifer Vickers; sister, Billy Ann Cates; a granddaughter, Brynlee Vickers; many other nieces, nephews, in-laws, and a host of friends.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Friday, June 24, 2016 with a visitation to begin at 2:00pm; funeral service at 3:00pm followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
