Roger Duane Moore

Roger was a member of the American Legend Post 255 on Carson Road and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Birmingham. He was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed working with his hands and he loved NASCAR, Alabama football and watching westerns.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Moore and his mother, Virginia Shell Moore Kimbrough.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sandra F. Moore; one son, Greg Moore (Linda); two daughters, Pam Smith, and Wanda Blackwelder (Jeff); seven grandchildren, Cliff (Krystal), Clint, Marshall, Jeremy (Ashley), Jada (Ashley), Alisha (Kayla) and Sawyer (Heather); fifteen great grandchildren, Madison, Caleb, Aiden, Aaron, Adrian, Haleigh, Hunter, Nathan, Natalee, Jayden, Presley, Jaxon, Tara, Stella, and Jaylen.

A visitation for Roger will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel.
