Mr. Ronald Connell, age 87, of Gardendale, Alabama passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025 at his residence. He was born on July 8, 1937. He served in the Navy, member of the American Legion and his passion was hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Bessie Connell, twin brother Donald Connell, brother Clyde Connell, sister Dorothy Gwin, sister Willa Dean Harland.
He is survived by his wife Gara Connell, daughter Karen Connell, Great Grandson Isaiah Phillips, niece Cheryl Humphries (Bill), nephew DeWitt Connell , and many other nieces and nephews, and a host of loving friends.
Visitation for Mr. Connell will be Saturday May 31, 2025 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL starting at 10:00 AM with funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Howard Wolfe will Officiate.
