Ronnie a resident of Warrior, AL, passed away on Friday at the age of 77. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Lois Corvin; brothers, Lionel, Jr., Clebur and Ben; sisters, Mildred Thompson, Betty Doyle, Lois Jean Swann and Martha Sparks. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Betty Corvin; daughters, Rhonda Whidden (Ron) and Vickie Kanute (Chris); brother, Nolan Shipp; grandchildren, Andrew Turner, (Jamie), Christopher Whidden, Jessica Whidden, Chase Kanute and Justin Kanute, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Sunday, Jan 26 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Monday, Jan 27, at 11:00am with entombment to follow in the Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum.
