

Ronald Gene Glenn, 83, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away on November 16, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on July 22, 1942, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend known for his kindness and gentle spirit.
Ronald retired as a railroad conductor with Burlington Northern Santa Fe. He was a Mason and a Shriner at Zamora Temple, where he helped raise funds for Shriners Hospitals for Children. He was a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ and a devoted member of Gardendale First Baptist Church for more than two decades.
He loved animals, especially dogs and cats, became an avid bird watcher in his later years, and was a passionate supporter of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Ronald was known throughout his community for his warmth and genuine kindness.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Janice Yevonne Glenn; son, Rodney Glenn (Robyn Glenn); grandson, Zachary Glenn (Nikki Glenn); granddaughter, Miranda Swindle; and second son by love, Roger P Foley (Nadya). He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tanya Glenn; father, Gene Glenn; and mother, Hazel Glenn.
A visitation will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, located at 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama, 35071, on November 19, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the same venue starting at 12:00 pm.
The committal service will take place at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, located at 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama, 35071, on the same day.
