Ruby B Goodwin

Ruby was a loving wife to Thomas C. Goodwin whom she raised her family with. She was a nurse at UAB until her retirement. Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Perry and Deborah Warren (Jerry); her son, Philip Goodwin (Debra); her son-in-law Terry Ernest; her nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Goodwin; her parents, Robert Joseph and Dovie Knight Hutchins; her sons, Michael Phillips and Richard Phillips; her daughter, Tommie Goodwin; and her son-in-law, Bob Perry.

A Graveside service to Celebrate Ruby’s Life will be on Monday, July 10th, 2023 at 10:30 am at Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers the family would like for donations to be made in Ruby’s honor to a charity of your choice.
