Born September 9, 1926, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. She was a member of the Clanton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness. Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, George Barton; 4 children: Sarah Robinson (Douglas), Glenn Barton (Deborah), Kathleen Myrick (Bobby), and Nancy Estell (Joey); 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, with funeral services Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
