Ruth A. Dove passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the age of 72. She was a lifelong resident of Pinson, AL and was retired from Jefferson County Board of Education after 16 years of service. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Ruth was preceded in death by her daughters, Vicki Lynn Lewis, Paula Kay Dove, Lori Ann Dove, and Terri Sue Dove; and a granddaughter, Michelle Lea Lewis. She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 53 years, Frank Dove; a daughter, Amy Vines and her husband, Jason; son-in-law, Michael Lewis, Sr.; grandchildren, Chrissy Bingham (Larry) and Michael Lewis, Jr.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 5 until 8 PM with chapel services on Thursday, April 3rd, beginning at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Walker’s Chapel Cemetery in Fultondale.
