Sam walked into the arms of the Lord Thursday at the age of 93. He was a wonderful father and Grannan who did the Lord’s work with a willing heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his beloved wife, Ruth. He is survived by his son, Paul Reynolds (Louise), granddaughters, Naomi Hillard and Rachel Graves (Jeffrey); great grandchildren, Krittur, Sarah, Michelle, Amber, Beth, Hannah, Leah, and Isaiah.
The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to either the Foundry, “Where lives are reshaped by the hands of God” or Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama.
Services at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Sunday, Jan 29th, 2017 with a visitation to begin at 1:00pm; funeral service at 2:30pm, followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb 2nd, 2017 at 6:30pm at the Foundry Worship Center, Bessemer, AL.
