Saundra Reese, a resident of Warrior, AL, was born in Morris, AL, on August 20, 1947 and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 10, 2016 at the age of 69. She was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church in Warrior and she was a substitute school teacher at Brian Elementary School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elige and Lucy Russell; her son, Michael Reese; brother, Dick Russell and a sister Wanda Reid.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Earl Reese; daughter, Tiffany Burkes (Jason); granddaughter, Jordan Burkes, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a visitation on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral service on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 2:00pm followed by her burial in Bethel Cemetery, Warrior, AL.
