Shelby was a woman of devotion, she devoted her life to her family, friends, and community. Her radiant presence filled a room immediately and brought others confidence and comfort.
Shelby Jane Skelton leaves behind her loving family; children, Rene' Satterfield (Franklin), Georgia Flowers (Michael), Wayne Jennings (Michele), Larry Phillips Jr. (Daphne), Barry Phillips (Regina), Kari Early (Johnny); sister, Tenny S. Eidson; grandchildren, Tania Busby (Jacob), Kayla Hightower (Jay), Tina Love (Braydon), Hunter Flowers, Charlsie Lemmon (Jacob), Summer Smith, Gabriel Jennings, Laila Savage (Tyler), Lane Phillips, Landon Phillips, her honorary grandchildren from Pebble Lane; and her 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Phillip's legacy of love, inspiration, devotion, and wisdom will be carried and cherished by those who had the honor of knowing her.
Visitation will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama 35071, on September 30, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm, followed by A Celebration of Life Service at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama 35071, on September 30, 2026, beginning at 3:00 pm.
