Steven H Marsh

Steven H. Marsh, age 66 of Pinson, AL passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Steven retired from ACIPCO as an electrician with over 35 years of service. He was a member of the Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church and had proudly served his country in the Alabama National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Earl and Frances Lenora Marsh. Steven is survived by his wife, Donna B. Marsh; his daughters, Amy Sertell, Ashley Britt (Michael), and Ginger Boland (Jeff); sons, Shane Bates (Sonya) and Scotty Bates (Tamara); a brother, Ken Marsh (Pam); sister, Valerie Harris (Steve); his grandchildren, Ashley and Christina Bates, Garrett and Brooklynn Sertell, Lynnley, Elsie, and Evan Britt, Shelby and Jackson Boland, Mary-Katherine and Hunter Bates; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10th at Ridout’s gardendale Chapel from 6 until 8 PM followed by chapel services on Wednesday beginning at 11 AM. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale. Rick Andrews and Gary Creel will officiate services.
