Sue Day Gibson

Gibson, Sue Day Segler, age 86 of Gardendale was born on August 14, 1927 and passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ramon Leston Gibson; her brother, Donald Segler; and her son, David Satterfield. She is survived by her loving family, her children, Larry Gibson, (Vickie), Sheila Vines (Clyde Howard), Virginia Sargent (William), and Samantha Hopkins (Todd); her grandchildren, Justin Gannon (Kim), Jesse and Jacob Benson; Scarlett Wyatt, Waylon Armstrong, and Andrea Garrison (David); great grandchildren, Christian Taylor and Maddie Camerdella, Duncan Gannon, Destiny and Austin Brown; sisters, Virginia Stewart and Ann Clements (Ben); many nieces and nephews, including Michael and Pearl Dalrymple who we send a special thanks. Also, a thank you to the caregivers at Northway Health and Rehab and the Comfort Care Hospice Service.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 20th, 2013 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 12 noon until 1:30 PM with a Mausoleum Chapel service at 2 PM at Oakwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
