Sue W. Simmons of Fultondale passed away on March 12, 2015 at the age of 87 after a long illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William E. Simmons; son William, Jr., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her dad, Roan Winfield, and mother Augusta Winfield; brother, Ramond Winfield; sisters, Roberta Godfrey and Dorothy Logan. She retired from AT&T with 47 years of dedicated service, receiving several commendations from customers as well as from AT&T. Family and friends will receive condolences on Monday, March 16, 2015, from 12:30 -1:30 pm at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a Graveside service following at 2:00pm in Walkers Chapel Cemetery, Fultondale, AL officiated by Rev. Micka Marcum.
