Terrell Ray Duchock Sr.

Terrell Ray Duchock Sr. of Morris Alabama died January 7th, 2019 with his family by his side. Mr. Duchock was born September 7th, 1938 to Joe and Thelma Duchock. Mr. Duchock is survived by his wife of 58 years Faye Amason Duchock; his son Terry Duchock (Cheryl) of Clay, Alabama; his daughter Catrina D. Trimm (Mark) of Brentwood, Tennessee; his daughter Kelly D. Criss (Larry) of Morris, Alabama. He is also survived by his granddaughter April Hart (Ryan) of Brentwood, Tennessee; his granddaughter Abby Duchock of Birmingham, Alabama; his grandson Aaron Trimm of Brentwood, Tennessee, his grandson Luke Criss of Morris, Alabama; his grandson Jacob Duchock of Clay, Alabama and his great granddaughter Aelish Rose Hart. Additionally, he is survived by his sister-in-law Sheila Johnson (Lambert) of Fayetteville North Carolina; his sister-in-law Nancy Cunningham (Chris) of Clay Alabama, his brother-in-law Dan Amason of Massachusetts and his brother-in-law Rodney Amason of Texas. Mr. Duchock was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Thelma Duchock; his sister Mary Ozwalt; his brother Joe Duchock Jr. and his brother Thomas Duchock. Mr. Duchock graduated from Phillips High School in Birmingham and then went on to a 43 year career at United States Steel from where he retired. Mr. Duchock also served in and retired from the Alabama Army National Guard. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Morris Alabama and attended the Open Heart Sunday School class. Mr. Duchock enjoyed being active in the Jefferson County Historical Society and the Gardendale Historical Society. Lastly, Mr. Duchock was above all else a family man. His family was his hobby, his inspiration and his priority. He will be missed by many including family, friends and neighbors. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday January 12, 2019 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. till service. A committal service will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Dr. John Hambright will officiate
