Tien "Tim" Tu Truong

Tim was a beloved nail technician in the Gardendale and Fultondale area, known for his impeccable work and kind, joyful spirit. He had a gift for bringing laughter and warmth wherever he went, earning the love of both clients and friends alike.

A proud older brother in a large family of eight, Tim was deeply connected to his roots and maintained strong friendships, especially with those back home in Vietnam. Beyond his work, he was passionate about soccer, a skilled player, and an avid bass fisherman often casting lines at midnight just to enjoy the peace of the lake. He also loved playing Chinese chess and poker, where his sharp mind and competitive nature always shone through.

Tim's presence was magnetic, his heart generous, and his memory will live on in the many lives he touched.

A visitation for Tim will be held Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel. A celebration of life funeral mass will occur Monday, May 5, 2025 at 7:30 AM at Our Lady of La Vang Catholic Church, 142 52nd Pl N, Birmingham, AL 35212.
