I will never forget and forever be thankful for Dale's presence at Gardendale Presbyterian Church as we navigated the minefields of high school and adolescence. I grieve with all of his family and friends today.

Sunrise and mist whisper through my window
The world has changed
Some things we remember
Others they're gonna treat us strange
There's a crow circling high
Three hawks are peckin' in the park
All the babies stop their cryin'
There was none laughing at the morning star

We'll wait 'til tomorrow
Rubbin' our eyes
See that wasn't a dream

As time goes by get used to the news
Somewhere in between
The familiar just isn't
Even all the moons in the sky
Sunburned at Christmas
Snowing at the edge of July

Closing our eyes remember the places
Oh, the places we've been
Like old-timey memories
We can watch over and over again
That's where we can go to see each other again
I'll meet you there you can find me my friend
See you there find me find me
I'll meet you there my old friend

(Find me... old friend)

I’m saddened to hear of your passing my friend. Thank you for the beautiful memories of Kauai and of our friendship. It always put a smile on my face to see you in passing at Panic shows. I’ll always cherish the time we spent together and the memories. Sending Love up to the Heavens. Jerry and Mikey are playing your songs. ~~ 🙏

Everyone's tryin' to get to the bar
The name of the bar, the bar is called Heaven
In Heaven the band plays our favorite song
They play it one more time they play it all night long.

You will he missed, friend.

Long live your name
Remembered with Love
Until we meet again ~~ ♥️

I'm so glad I got to spend time with you in Colorado, and that we got to enjoy live music together on a few different occasions. But just hanging around and chatting with you was always a good time, and I will miss those opportunities. Philosophy, music, science, politics, adventure-- you could talk about anything with contagious enthusiasm. Your stories about your adventures in Hawaii and traveling around the US were an inspiration for many of my own travels. Thanks for all the awesome recommendations, cousin! You were a kindred spirit in many ways, and you'll be missed.

I only have good memories of Dale. My favorite is bumping into him while in college and catching up with each other. It was a 30 minute conversation but I remember it still. He was a genuinely good guy.

Man, Dale! I'll never forget you being such an amazing influence on me as a young kid at Covenant Mountain. Throughout the years since, we didn't constantly stay in touch but still managed to get reacquainted every few years. You will be dearly missed, my friend.
