

Troy Cecil Ingram Jr., age 87, of Gardendale, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024. Born on July 23, 1937, to the late Troy and Ava Ingram, Cecil lived a life marked by devotion, service, and love.
He is survived by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Barbara Wiggins Ingram; his daughter, Ginger (Jerome) Reed; and his cherished grandchildren: Alex (Jessica) Reed, Troy N. Ingram, Jacob (Destiny) Ingram, Kathryn (Tyler) Rauhauser, and Ashley Ingram. Cecil is also survived by his sisters, Edna Loebler and Jean (Ed) Hamaker; his sister-in-law, Goldie Ingram; and several treasured nephews and nieces.
Cecil was preceded in death by his son, Darryl Ingram; brothers, Jack Ingram and Doyle Ingram and his sister, Esther Ruth Ingram.
A proud veteran, Cecil served honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a dedicated member of Fulton Springs Methodist Church and he retired from the Buffalo Rock Co. His legacy of faith, dedication, and family love will be remembered and cherished.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Cecil will be laid to rest in Forest Crest Cemetery, 5730 US-78, Birmingham, AL 35210.
