passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Hagood. Vera is survived by 3 sons: Jerry Hagood (Jean), Wiley Hagood (Vicki), and Michael Hagood (Charlotte); 2 daughters: Brenda Chamblee and Judy Wiley; 3 sisters; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home, with interment at Hopewell Cemetery.
