William “Buddy” Pair, age 75 of Mt. Olive, Al passed away at his home on Saturday, October 31, 2015. He will be greatly missed by everyone. Buddy was a lifelong resident of Mt. Olive. He was retired from the Carpenter’s Local #103 after many years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Evie Pair; two brothers, Buck Pair and Bud Pair; two sisters, Trannie Holt and Lorene Torbert. He is survived by his loving family, three sons, Lane Pair of Vinemont, Robby Pair of Pinson, and shane Pair of Georgia; grandchildren, Kasey Pair, Zoie Pair, and Joseph Pair; a brother, Donnie Pair; five sisters, Joyce Breckenridge, Helen Johnson, Josephine Payne, Sue Jerrell, and Johnnie Gail Robinson; his best friend, Eddie Bennefield; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
A visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon from 4 until 6 PM at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with chapel services on Wednesday beginning at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Creek Hill Cemetery on Sardis Road in Mt. Olive.
