Albert Rios Martinez

Albert was born on May 30, 1945 to Alejandro L. Martinez and Anita R. Rios in Rosebud, Texas.  He married Chabela C. Martinez on December 12, 1965.  He retired from truck driving after 35 years.  Following retirement he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alejandro L. Martinez, mother Anita R. Rios, a brother Joe R. Martinez, sisters Amada, Eldefina (Tina), and Julia Martinez, a son Albert R. Martinez, Jr., and daughter Gloria Martinez. 

Albert is survived by his loving wife, Chabela C. Martinez, daughters Anita Guzman, Margie Martinez, Teresa Martinez, Elizabeth Mendoza and son Robert Martinez.  Surviving sisters include Anita R. Sewell, Patricia Perez, Alicia Marez, Guadalupe Garcia and brothers Chris Martinez and George Martinez.  Left to cherish his memory are 17 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. 

Memorial services at San Gabriel Park with the release of palomas at 11 a.m.  Immediately following the service there will be a reception at 521 East Morrow Street, Georgetown, Texas.
