Amelia "Molly" Zavala

Amelia “Molly” Zavala 1951 – 2010 Cherished daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and godmother, Amelia “Molly” Zavala, 59, lifetime resident of Georgetown went peacefully to heaven on Saturday, January 16, 2010. She was born January 4, 1951 to Daniel Zavala, Sr. and the late Fillie Zavala. Molly is survived by her father, Daniel Zavala, Sr.; her brothers, Daniel Zavala, Jr., Anthony Zavala, Reuben Zavala; sister, Rose Lee Davila, all of Georgetown, TX. She is also survived by godson and nephew, Eli Zavala-Davila; nephew, Philip Lon Zavala; nieces, Joyce Davila and Camille Davila, all of Georgetown, TX, and Emily Zavala of Kansas City, MO; great nephew, Philip Zavala, Jr. of Cedar Park, TX; great niece and goddaughter, Janessa Carlin of Georgetown, TX.; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family members including, Felix Davila, Jr. of Irving, TX, Michael Martinez and Michelle Martinez, both of Georgetown, TX. Molly is preceded in death by her mother, Fillie Coronado Zavala. We greatly appreciate the caring staff at Satellite Dialysis, The North Austin Medical Center Hyperbaric/Wound Care Staff, Dr. Steven Krych, Dr. Helen Maidment and our deepest gratitude to the angels at Lighthouse Hospice at Altenheim. Viewing and visitation will be on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, TX, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at St. Helen’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Georgetown Memorial Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, Luis Zavala, Jr., Randy Muñoz, Eli Zavala-Davila, Philip Lon Zavala, Michael Martinez and Fernando Rios, Jr.
