A good man and one of the best and most genuine people I've had the pleasure of meeting through the union. We'll miss you brother.

I wasn't around Cane long enough to watch him grow up, however he impressed me with his maturity from time to time, and often I would forget he was still in high-school. 
Cane managed to leave an impression in just a few years that shaped my life for the better at a point when I was questioning everything. I will always be grateful for those memories.

This is the heart of Cain we will always remember. He had the courage to be tender and caring.  We love you Cain.

I spent a large amount of my teen years with Cain. Nearly every day of the summer of 2012. His house was like a second home to me. All I can think of when I think of my time with him is the laughter, the fraternal ribbing, and staying up too late playing video games. I don’t think he knew how much I looked up to him during that time of my life.

My first time playing Halo, Cain, Ronnie, William and myself. Cain was torturing me, they were laughing because I could not find him to shoot him, he was actually standing on my head, he took me out and everyone was laughing. Then he said “let me show you how to play.”  That was Cain, his heart was huge! His sense of humor was never cruel, it was from his heart, and his smile was infectious. I was proud to know him. OOH RAH!

My son Dallen and Cain became fast friends in Fort Benning when they were both just 2 little elementary school kids with their skateboards. I loved all of my childrens friends like i love mine. I tried keeping up with several but unfortunately couldnt keep up with all. I wish I could have seen him grow through all these years. Instead of finding out where is from this heart breaking news. Sending all my love, prayers and condolences to his family and friends.

Cain was one of my best friends in the third grade. I got bullied a lot because I was smaller than everyone else and I had a big mouth because of it. Cain was more quiet, and for some reason, Cain never did bully me even though he was the biggest around—usually the only third grader I knew with like 4-inch biceps, lol. BUT he always stuck up for me because he himself was bigger and stronger than everyone else. But man, he could not fight, lol. We usually both ended up with some scrapes and bumps, and we lost, but the days always ended with a laugh and a good story. We used to be inseparable until I had to move away (also a military brat). I always cherished our friendship. He was one of the first people to ever stick up for me back then. He showed me I can stick up for myself too, and that mattered so much and still does to this day. I never expected to receive this news; we're too young, but I know one day we will see him again because I know Cain's heart. Our names drew us together; my name is Dallen Michael Cain, his name was Cain Michael Doll. Two opposites in so many ways, but we thought it meant we were destined to be best friends, lol. Good times and even better memories that I hold dearly. I pray for everyone in the family. It's been a long time, but I love you all, and I'll be praying for peace and love to surround you all in this time. God said, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted" (Matthew 5:4). God bless and reach out if you need anything or just want to chat and pray together. I can do that always 🙏

Grandparents should never lose grandchildren.

Miss you already brother, one of my closest friends in the trade. One of the most genuine people I’ve met. Always knew how to light up a job site and have everyone laughing. I’ll see you on the next one brother, love ya

I’ll miss you, bud. I’ll miss our conversations about video games and life in general. If I would’ve known you were in a dark place I would’ve done more for you. Your sense of humor will be missed, man. I hope you’re finally at peace.
