Clarice Evelyn Tucker

Clarice Evelyn Tucker, lovingly known as “Evelyn”, 84 of Burnet, Texas passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011. Evelyn was born in New Albany, Indiana. She was raised in Indiana by her mother and father, Bertha and Mutt Cunningham; she spent most of her life in Indiana. Evelyn met the love of her life, Vern Tucker in 1945 when he returned from WWII, they married on June 1, 1946. They started their family and lived in Indiana until Vern retired in 1987 when they moved to Georgetown and then to Burnet. Evelyn was a woman of very strong faith and belief in God. She was an avid reader and an excellent cook. She loved her family and her dogs. Evelyn will be remembered and cherished as a loving mother and grandmother. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Vern Tucker in 1999. Evelyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children, Steve Tucker of Los Angeles, CA, Vickie Bare and her husband John of Charleston, SC, Jerry Tucker and his wife Judy of Burnet and Ron Tucker and his wife Suzie of Georgetown; her five grandchildren, Jamie Pickardt and her husband David, Jenifer Drozd and her husband Nat, Phillip Mosseletti and his wife Felicia, Paul Mossoletti and Abigail Tucker; her great grandchildren, Ashlynne, Brooke, Tommy, Chris, Jackson, Madison, Courtney, Sydne, Caden and Kinsey; along with many beloved friends.
