Graveside services for Claudie Walston, 95 of Georgetown, will be held 11AM, Friday, January 22, 2016 at Evangelical Free Church Cemetery in Georgetown under the direction of The Gabriels Funeral Chapel.
A visitation for friends and family will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 6 to 8PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 N. I-35, Georgetown, Texas 78628.
Claudie passed away Friday, January 15, 2016, in Houston surrounded by his family. He was born June 22, 1920, in Georgetown, the son of Arthur and Laura Walston. He was a member of the Florence Church of Christ and loved to hunt, fish, and garden.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ernest, Lee, and Neal Walston.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Walston; one son, Mike Walston of Florence; one daughter, Donna Castle of Tomball; one sister, Laura Homeyer of Austin; four grandchildren, Linda and Jason Walston and Greg and Brent Castle; and one great grandchild, Capelynn Castle.
