Cooper Andrew Elsik

Cooper Andrew Elsik, 18, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24, 2025. Born on July 25, 2007, in Round Rock, Texas, he was the beloved son of Dewey Dwayne Elsik and Darla Diane Kocian Elsik.

Cooper attended Hutto High School, where he showed outstanding dedication to his studies. His commitment to academics enabled him to graduate early, completing his high school education in December 2024. Cooper worked at Soapy Falls Express Car Wash in Round Rock, where he took on the responsibilities of Site Manager. In this role, he demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism, earning the respect of his colleagues and supervisors. His hard work and dedication positioned him for advancement, and he was on track to become a Region Manager in the near future.

Known for his kind spirit, infectious smile, and unwavering loyalty to his friends and family, Cooper enjoyed spending time at the lake on jet skis and riding 4 wheelers, as well as spending time with his dog Max. Cooper rose to the rank of Life Scout, where he held the position as a Patrol Leader. He was a member of the Order of the Arrow. Cooper began his journey in Scouting as a Tiger Cub in Cub Scouts.

Cooper is lovingly remembered by his father, Dewey D. Elsik; his stepmother, Stacy Elsik; his brother, Ryan Elsik; his stepbrothers, Austin Bell and Adam Bell; and his stepsister, Allison Goolsby. He is also survived by his grandfather, Dewey W. Elsik, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherish his memory.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Darla Elsik, who passed away in 2021. The family finds comfort knowing that, upon his arrival in heaven, Cooper was lovingly welcomed by Darla, bringing them together once again in eternal peace.

A Celebration of Life for Cooper will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Georgetown, Texas. Interment will follow at the International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery (IOOF) in Georgetown.
