Denny Raye Cranford Sr.

Denny Raye Cranford, 78 passed away at home on July 19, 2026. Denny was born October 19, 1947 (along with a twin sister) in Little Rock, Arkansas to Faye Morris Cranford and Dennis D. Cranford. Denny was a proud resident of Round Rock, Texas for 40 years. This was home.

For those of you that knew Denny, you knew the depth of his love for his family. He was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather. He was much like his daughter Gayla and had an incredible ability to welcome anyone and everyone with open arms. He would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He was kind.

Denny shared his love of life and God with his family and anyone who got to truly know him. He was a loyal and loving friend to all.

His service to his country was also very important to him. He was a veteran and he contributes to the veterans and his wife will see that continue.

Denny is survived by his Wife Patricia, his Son Denny Jr., Daughter-in-law Jill Vinson Cranford, Grandchildren, Colton R. Cranford, Savannah R. Gibson, Canyon W. Gibson, Sarah J. Cranford Johnson and her husband Ruston D. Johnson. A twin sister, Rita F. Atkinson and Nieces Heather Atkinson, Hope Atkinson Johnson and Nephew Heath Atkinson.

Denny is preceded in death by his Precious Daughter Gayla Rene Cranford Gibson, his Mother Faye Morris Cranford and his Father Dennis D. Cranford.

A Memorial Service will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 393 N Interstate Hwy 35, Georgetown, TX 78628, US, on August 6, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
