Dorothy Lee (Jenkins) Cockrell (11/24/1929-08/13/2007) Beloved wife, Mother, Grandmother, and friend went to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Monday August 13th, 2007 in Georgetown, Texas surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born November 24th, 1929 in Polk County, Missouri, and was preceded in death by her father Alfred Victor Jenkins and husbands Orion Gideon Wood and Eugene Mitchell Cockrell. Dorothy is survived by her mother Ona Mae Jenkins of Bolivar, Missouri, son Roger Wood and wife Linda of Georgetown, Texas, daughter Barbara Wood Lake of Georgetown, Texas, son Bradley Cockrell and wife Cari of Denton, Texas, and her brother Richard Jenkins of Bolivar, Missouri. She is also survived by grandchildren, Eric Raney, Joshua Lake, Katherine Lake, Marissa Cearnal, Lindsay Wood, Chance Cockrell, Chandler Cockrell, Cameron Cockrell, 6 great grandchildren, and many other beloved relatives and friends. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. , Wednesday, August 15, 2007, and directly followed by a Memorial Service celebrating Dorothy’s life starting at 6:30 p.m. at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel located at 393 N.
