Eileen H. Harfmann

Eileen H. Harfmann, 60, of Walburg/Corn Hill, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 N IH35 Georgetown, TX. A second public visitation will take place at Zion Lutheran Church, FM 1105 Walburg, TX on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 1pm to 2:30pm, followed by a service celebrating her life at 3pm with Pastor John Davenport officiating. Honoring Eileen's memory serving as pallbearers will be Rudy Cepak, John Valenta, Matt Rochner, Billy Chandler, Glen Chervenka, Bud Holy, Kurt Harfmann, and Weldon Copeland Eileen was born September 4, 1954 in Belleville, Illinois to Erwin and Dorothy Arras. After graduating high school in Waterloo, Illinois, she married Walt Harfmann on March 3, 1973, with whom she shared the joys of life together for over 41 years. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, dancing and traveling the US and Europe with her husband. She will be remembered for her love of animals, her caring heart and the way she put others before herself. Eileen is preceded in death by: her father, Erwin Arras and her in-laws, Frank and Alice Harfmann. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her husband, Walt; daughters: Lisa Segura and husband Scott; Christina Matus and husband Javier; son, Kurt Harfmann and wife Cristy; grandchildren: Cameron, Aver and Eric Segura, Dillon and Alexa Matus and Bailey Harfmann; mother, Dorothy Arras; sister, Mary Huetsch; and other loving family and friends.
