

Elaine Wynn Albritton, 79, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away on 15 January, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 25, 1946, in Austin, Texas, Elaine lived a life defined by warmth, devotion, and compassion.
Elaine dedicated more than 30 years of service as a procurement specialist for the State of Texas, where her integrity, diligence, and professionalism earned the respect of colleagues across decades. Beyond her career, she was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend.
Elaine cherished time with her family and took great joy in playing cards, volunteering with women’s organizations like Rockwall Soroptimists, and nurturing the meaningful relationships she built within her community. Her kind spirit, quick smile, and unwavering love for those around her created a home filled with comfort and laughter.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Michael H. Albritton; her son Patrick (Lisa) Albritton; her daughter Susan (Matt) Smith; her grandchildren Connor, Cadance, Colton, Kelsey, Caitlin, and Logan; and her sister Pheraby (Don) Newman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Frances Wynn. Elaine’s life was a testament to love, loyalty, and the quiet strength of a generous heart. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family.
A service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, 24 January 2026 at 1PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown Texas with a graveside service following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shiners Children’s in her memory.
