Florence Rosine Alexander

Rose Alexander 11-20-10 Gabriel’s, Georgetown Texas Florence Rosine Lynch was born April the 10th, 1913 in Houston, TX. Her ancestors were early settlers in the area and Rose talked about the town of Lynchburg being named for her family. She went to her heavenly reward on Tuesday the 16 of November, 2010 in Georgetown, TX. She was born the oldest of 4 children, 2 sisters and one brother. On the 16 of September 1933 she married Cecil Alexander in Houston, TX,. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Cecil and a daughter Juanda Rose Bryan. She is survived by her son Don and his wife Barbara Alexander of Stagecoach TX and 9 grandchildren: Tanya Sites, Kevin Bryan, Jonathan Bryan, Donna Sue Nivens, Nancy Charlene, Deborah Louise Edwards, Daniel Cecil Alexander, Dannette Yvonne Dietz, and Patricia Arlene Hunt. She is also survived by 18 great grand children and numerous great-great grand children. The family would like to thank the staff at the Wesleyan Nursing Home of Georgetown for the years of wonderful care for their Mother. Also Lon and Adrienne Williams, Charles and Irelene Turner for their loving support and visit’s while Rose was in the nursing home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 20, 2010 in Gabriels Funeral Chapel with Bill Powell officiating. She will be laid to rest in IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown.
