

In loving memory of Gail Lynette Mason, a beacon of light and love who graced this world from March 20, 1949, to April 25, 2025. Gail was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend whose presence brought joy to all who knew her. Born in Taylor, Texas, Gail was the epitome of grace and kindness. She was raised in a close-knit family with strong values of compassion, kindness, and love. Gail’s warmth and generosity knew no bounds, and her gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered.
Throughout her life, Gail was a nurturing mother to her children, caring grandmother, beloved sister, and a loyal friend to many. She found immense joy in simple pleasures, whether it was sports in her younger years, tending to her plants, watching soap operas, cooking meals for her loved ones, sharing laughter with friends over a cup of coffee, and was a garage sale queen. Gail spent over 44+ years at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital in nursing and switchboard operator. During her time, she became family to many and loved by all.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Nelson Mason; mother, Grace Leola Mason; sons, Tyrone Espy and Carlos Vasquez; brother, Benjamin “Benny” Mason; and sister, Anna Nelson (Shay) Mathews.
She leaves to cherish her memories daughter, Angela Espy (Russel), daughter, Karla Jefferson (Early), three sisters, Cynthia Fisher (Charles) of Belton, Texas, Jennifer Harris of Georgetown, Texas, Ima Miller (Linwood) of Belton, Texas one brother, Mark Mason (Carolyn) of Temple, Texas; three grandchildren, Tre’von Brandon, Adonis Hill, and Ian Jefferson; five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
