Hector Manuel Venegas Serna, 19 of Georgetown was killed in a tragic automobile accident on Friday, March 20, 2009. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 10:00AM at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Georgetown. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 1:00PM to 8:00PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH35, Georgetown. Hector was born in Van Nuys, California on August 1, 1989. He attended Georgetown High School and worked at Berry Creek Country Club. He is preceded in death by his father Hector Reyes Serna. Hector leaves behind to cherish his memory is his mother, Genoveva Venegas Sanchez; his siblings, Gabriela Serna, Beatrice Serna, Verenice Serna, Eduardo Serna; his grandparents, Bertha Reyes Garay and Beatriz Sanchez and Eliodoro Venegas; along with many other loving family members and friends.
