

At the home he built with his father and raised his family in, Jacinto R. Maldonado left to meet his Lord and Savior Thursday May 27th at 5:15pm. He was born on September 11, 1930 to Estacio and Josefa Maldonado in Georgetown Texas where he was also raised. He was one of 13 children. At the age of 17 he was drafted to serve his country for two years in the Korean War. He married his surviving wife Melecia Maldonado of almost 40 years on December 5, 1970. Also surviving he leaves his 3 daughters Debora Maldonado Gormley, Veronica Trevino Crisostomo and Sandra Dee Maldonado and 8 grand children Lary J. Gormley, Jonathan M. Crisostomo, Vance T. Crisostomo, Collin W. Gormley, Vivica J. Crisostomo, Liam A. Mcdonough and one more grandchild due in October. A devoted man of God heavily involved in church he took one step further and became an Ordained Minister in January 2005. He frequently volunteered to help with any task great or small and was happy to do so. Sincere with an undeniably warm heart he was loved by so many. He cheerful spirit will be missed.
