

Jacqueline “Jackie” Ann Nolan, 82, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 due to complications with COVID-19. She was tremendously loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Jackie was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts, to Alton and Amelia (Sellenger) Langmaid on August 01, 1938. She married Richard A. Nolan in Newburyport, Massachusetts on June 25, 1955. As a military wife she traveled all over the world and had many interesting experiences. In 1997 Richard retired and they moved to Georgetown, Texas to be closer to their children and grandchildren where they made many great memories.
Jackie loved spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies included needlepoint, knitting, traveling and she was an avid reader. Jackie was a volunteer at the Georgetown Hospital for many years. As a lifelong Girl Scout one of her proudest moments was being awarded The Thanks Badge, for outstanding service that benefits the Girl Scout program. In 2013 she met her great friend Bob Clark and they enjoyed traveling and spending time together.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard of 47 years, and both her parents, sister, Rita Rowe and granddaughter, Jaclyn Belflower. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Belflower and husband Robert, Lynn Cruz and husband Albert, sons, Richard Nolan and wife Mary Ann, Mark Nolan; and (10) grandchildren, (6) great grandchildren and (1) great great grandchild.
Jackie will be buried with her husband, Richard, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Due to circumstances with COVID-19 protocols and family traveling from out of state, there will be a private burial service with limited attendees.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends wishing to honor Jackie are invited to make a donation in her name to the MD Anderson Cancer Center
