Jeri was born on April 6, 1965, in Chewelah, Washington. She was an illuminating soul to all who knew her. Throughout her life, people knew her for her compassion, empathy, kindness, and servant’s heart. She had many special gifts. She loved teaching scripture to the youth, gardening, baking, and being a nurse for which she did for 35 years. Above all, she always put her family first.
Over a distinguished 35-year nursing career, she dedicated her heart to caring for others. She spent the majority of her years providing compassionate long-term care for the elderly. Later, she transitioned into school nursing, where she discovered a joyful new passion for working with children. During her time with Georgetown ISD, she deeply touched the hearts and minds of students and staff alike, loving every single moment of her work of five years.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Frank Morris. She leaves behind her children, Chad Salter and Nickkole Henzerling, Allison Noles and Brandon Makovy. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jeri had a vast circle of friends who were touched by her kindness. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Teresa Citi, her sister, Darla Jackson, stepfather, Don Roskam, and her aunt, May Hancock.
Please join us to celebrate Jeri’s remarkable life on June 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The service will be held at Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, TX. There will be a viewing on June 24th, 2026 from 6pm – 8pm at the same venue.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to her memorial fund at https://spot.fund/HonorJeriMorris, a cause close to her heart. This fund goes toward Chisholm Trail Youth Group, a program she led and grew over the past three years. She loved teaching the Bible to the young men and women. Thank you for helping keep her passion alive.
